Who we are

A smiling man with a beard and short hair wearing a beige hoodie and a black jacket outdoors during autumn. Behind him are trees with yellow and orange leaves, and a black building with gold lettering that reads 'Evernorth Spirits Co.' In the background, a group of people are gathered, some talking, in a casual outdoor setting.

Ernie Silverberg:

I love everything about Homebrew pinball! From the engineering side to the programming side, and even the wiring side. It has every skill and hobby melted into one thing. The only thing better than building my own games, is seeing whatever everyone else does. I’ve said this 100000 times but this is the only hobby where I’ve jumped up in the air and said F’ Yeah! When something works. Nothing better! I like combo and cross shots the best or a good newton ball shot!

Professionally, I do a little bit of everything, everywhere. I own Trident Pinball and do a little bit of hustling at Marco Specialities. Otherwise, I work in the Energy field!

Nick Morand:

Mechanical Engineer. Loves physical ball locks, and the color green. Hates slow pinball. I've been a "car guy" since I was 6 years old. I work in the auto industry and it shows in Turbo Time. As I design mechs, I always like to think with a "yes, and?" Attitude.

Alex Lobascio:

He holds a BA in Computer Science and Economic Theory from New York University. In the pinball world, Alex is celebrated for creating the popular "Trogdor" homebrew pinball machine, a project that gained significant attention in the hobbyist community. His passion extends to supporting the hobby's infrastructure, as he is also known as an active contributor to the open-source Mission Pinball Framework (MPF), merging his professional expertise with his love for pinball.

Kyle Reed:

By day, I’m a Senior Supply Chain Design Analyst with a degree in Packaging Science.

By night, I patrol the back alleys of homebrew pinball, taking down evil forces like bad geometry, lazy design, and phantom voltages. Justice is measured in clean wiring, bold innovation, and buttery-smooth shots.

I started collecting and restoring pinball machines in 2018 — and I was hooked immediately. Homebrew pinball became the ultimate challenge: a chance to learn and excel in a thousand different hobbies at once. I started big with my first build and wanted to do it justice — combining the eye of an engineer with the imagination of a kid, crafting a polished, professional, and fully realized world under glass.

From those lessons came a new mission: to make this incredible hobby more approachable and inspiring for everyone. I want to help others fast-track through the toughest parts of the process, and experience that same spark of pride and excitement when their creation comes alive for the first time.

Kyle Smet:

I grew up in the video store and Aladdin's Castle, and I'm still trying to figure out how to escape. I started collecting, repairing and restoring games about 15 years ago, and now I'm bringing my love of 80's movies to the homebrew scene.

Aaron Davis:

Based in the greater Seattle area, FAST Pinball develops and sells modern pinball control systems used by individual hobbyists, indie designers, and larger-scale manufacturers to create new and custom pinball machines. Davis is an active figure in the pinball community, frequently speaking at events like Pinball Expo and engaging directly with the homebrew scene to support and foster the next generation of pinball creators.
